Spark’s Launch is a Huge Success, Delivering Much-Needed Support to Neurodivergent People in Northern Ireland

We are thrilled to share that Spark’s launch event, held at 2 Royal Avenue, Belfast, last week, was an incredible success! The event brought together an inspiring group of individuals, all dedicated to supporting and celebrating neurodivergent people in Northern Ireland.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the attendees who made the launch so memorable. Gary and Cara were overjoyed to see so many of our members in attendance and wished there had been more time to connect with everyone. Rest assured, we are already planning our next meetup to continue these important conversations and foster deeper connections within our community.

The event featured a lineup of remarkable guest speakers who brought invaluable insights and experiences to the table. We extend our gratitude to Peter McReynolds MLA of the Alliance Party, Dr. April Hargreaves from the National College of Ireland, Matthew McArthur who shared his lived experience with dyslexia, and Kirsty Gillen who spoke on her lived experience with ADHD. Their contributions were instrumental in highlighting the diverse perspectives and needs within our community.

Moreover, this event was more than just a gathering; it was a significant step towards building a thriving community where neurodivergent voices are not only heard but also valued. It marked the beginning of a journey to create a supportive network that champions inclusivity and understanding.

We would also like to thank Hays Recruitment for providing the refreshments, ensuring that our attendees were well taken care of throughout the event.

As we look forward to future events, we encourage everyone to continue being the spark that lights up the room. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of neurodivergent individuals across Northern Ireland.

Stay tuned for updates on our next meetup, and let’s keep this momentum going! 🧠
